The East Torrens District Cricket Club is excited to announce its involvement in the Good Sports Get Home Safe Round, a partnership with SACA Premier Cricket, the Alcohol and Drug Foundation’s Good Sports Program and the Get Home Safe Foundation to be held across the first two-day match of the season on 30th October and 6th of November.
The Good Sports Get Home Safe Round will highlight the importance of clubs promoting positive road user behaviour to ensure our members get home safe. By promoting road safety messages, our clubs is continuing to build a safe and family-friendly environment for all members. The round
emphasises the need for players to demonstrate the same skills when they’re driving on the road that they do on the field – such as smart decision making, focus and obeying the rules.
As a club we want to remind our players, parents, coaches and members to take care of one another and be safe on the roads.
